Sindhura, also known as Senthura, Raspuri, or sometimes called Honey Mango, is a popular mango variety grown widely in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.

It’s easily recognized by its bright reddish-yellow skin, smooth texture, and sweet, slightly tangy pulp with a rich aroma.

Key Characteristics:

  • Color: Golden yellow with red blush

  • Shape: Oval and medium-sized

  • Pulp: Deep orange, juicy, and fiberless

  • Taste: Sweet with mild acidity — very refreshing

  • Season: Usually available from May to July

Sindhura mangoes are especially famous in Chittoor and Krishna districts (Andhra Pradesh) and are often used for fresh eating, juice, and desserts.
